Bestie Allie is picking out fixtures for her new home in Atlanta. She and her fiance went through hell to purchase a gorgeous, unfinished foreclosure. While it is still heavily under construction, it also means that they get to choose every last detail for their first home!
Yesterday, Allie was asking me about banisters. While I didn't think I had much of an opinion on the matter, my pinterest "Home Design" board suggests otherwise.

ReplyDeleteI'm totally the same way as you--I LOVE the contrast of a dark bannister + dark wood floors. OBSESSED. :)
ReplyDeleteHey ladies! The big difference between our stairs and your pics is we are using iron ballusters. Originally we planned on dark banisters, and white newell posts. But our trim guys took one look at our solid oak newells and REFUSED to paint them. So all the wood on the stairs will be stained for now... And I can always paint them later if I hate all the dark wood.
