All Talk...

I have blogged about a number of projects that fall into the category of "to do" and not "look at what we did!". Have you noticed? If not, let me take a moment to air out my dirty laundry.

Back in April I talked about reupholstering a dining bench.

Guess what? Still not done.

In June, I was going to make my own shower curtain.

How'd that turn out? I'll have to let you know.

In August, I wanted to paint our Master Bedroom grey.

You guessed it: the wall is still purple.

What gives? I could list off a whole bunch of excuses. Like, I'm afraid I'm going to jack-up the bench. And I went to two fabric stores and couldn't find oversized fabric for the shower curtain. The bedroom? Well, that turned into a heated debate between me and Mr. Fix-It (I swear I'll win that one, though!). So really, we haven't done a whole lot around here. In ages.

Are you putting off any projects? How about we make a pact to GET IT DONE?

  1. Yessss. I am not alone!! Well -- besides the fact that I still have not blogged about our kitchen makeover -- those stairs we started sanding? Still only halfway sanded... 6 months later. When we got Sasha (almost 4 months ago) I said I would make him a bed. Poor dog's been sleeping on a pile of blankets this whole time (I don't think he cares though)! Let's DO this! :D

  2. Oh my gosh...I think every project I start becomes one that I end up putting off!

Trying to finish up our bathroom renovation that I just HAD to have done a month ago...and now everything that's left to do (shower curtain, hooks, towel rods, etc.) still needs to be done :)

  3. This makes me feel better! At least I'm not the only one with a 'to do' list a mile long!

  4. We have about 10 projects that we've talked about doing, but haven't quite got around to them yet. I think part of it is we keep moving on to new ones that seem more fun or we just like to procrastinate....

  5. We have about a million that we want to do, but we can't afford it yet! We need to spend some time saving first, haha.

  7. BOYCOTT AMERICAN WOMEN
Why American men should boycott American women

    http://boycottamericanwomen.blogspot.com

I am an American man, and I have decided to boycott American women. In a nutshell, American women are the most likely to cheat on you, to divorce you, to get fat, to steal half of your money in the divorce courts, don’t know how to cook or clean, don’t want to have children, etc. Therefore, what intelligent man would want to get involved with American women?

American women are generally immature, selfish, extremely arrogant and self-centered, mentally unstable, irresponsible, and highly unchaste. The behavior of most American women is utterly disgusting, to say the least.

This blog is my attempt to explain why I feel American women are inferior to foreign women (non-American women), and why American men should boycott American women, and date/marry only foreign (non-American) women.

    BOYCOTT AMERICAN WOMEN!
