7 links seemed like a perfect Friday post, no? If you haven't seen these posts floating around the blogisphere here's the story: there are 7 categories (almost like superlatives) that you choose for your blog posts. It's a fun way to reflect on your previous blog entries!
The lovely Kelly of KJPugs tagged me to participate, so here goes!
I'm going literal on this one. I think the most beautiful post on The Fix-Its was probably our vacation highlight photos from Greece. I was really proud to share some of our photos (as my photography skills improve) and I can't wait to share more!
Our most popular post BY FAR is Our Backsplash is IN! Who knew so many of you were trying to install your own backsplashes? Similarly, thie most common reader e-mail question I get is about our backsplash.
This one did not suprise me. When I wrote about over-grown children in strollers people defended autistic and disabled kids. I wasn't saying, "Get out of your wheelchair, lazy bones!". Really.
I think people found the bathroom grime post helpful. Most helpful post ever? I'm not sure, but it definitely made my life better.
Post Whose Success Surprised Me:
Definitely my post about natural beauty. I just thought it would get lost in the shuffle, but for a while it was the most popular post on our blog! For a blog that's allegedly about our foibles in home ownership I was totally surprised.
Post I feel didn't get the attention it deserved:
This one was easy to choose, and makes sense. We're not all at the same place at the same time, right? While I felt like finding this post would have been the most helpful thing EVER!!! to me when I was in a slump I get why it didn't get a huge response.
Post I'm most proud of:
This one was hard to write. I'm proud I let myself reflect on Mr. Fix-It's Mom's last day while participating in the reverb10 writing challenge.
What do you think? Do you agree with my picks?
